The Captain's Cottage is a charming historic self-contained Georgian seafarer's abode. It is a home away from home allowing you to relax and unwind while taking in the spectacular water views and ambience of the seaside village of Stanley nestled right under the Nut (climb the steps or take the chairlift).
The cottage is exclusively yours with three bedrooms and two sitting rooms, off street under cover parking, cottage gardens and within walking distance to beaches, shops and restaurants. Creature comforts include a shower, original claw-foot bath, cosy fire, two toilets, DVD, CDs, full kitchen and laundry facilities.
There are so many attractions for everyone to enjoy within the village and surrounding areas. The Tarkine wilderness area, historic Highfield House and site, the chairlift at the Nut, Open Gardens, Arthur River cruises, Dismal Swamp, Dip Falls and the Big Tree, Rocky Cape National Park, Seaquarium, tours to visit seals and platypus, or walk to the Fairy penguins just to name just a few. If you like history then follow the historic heritage walk around the village and breathe the cleanest air in the world. Stanley will be an experience you will never forget!
