Join a guided tour of the historic Mountain Maid gold mine within Copeland Tops State Conservation Area, just 20 minutes from Gloucester. Be guided through this heritage gold mining precinct hidden deep in the Copeland rainforest that is now protected by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
Volunteers from Gloucester Visitor Information Centre conduct guided tours of the historic Mountain Maid gold mine on Sundays and Wednesdays for a minimum of four people. Tours can also be arranged for other days with sufficient advance notice, depending on availability of volunteers.
