Urangan

One of the best kept secrets on the Fraser Coast, Urangan boasts long stretches of beautiful beaches, plenty of picnic and barbecue areas, superb fishing spots and a bunch of very friendly locals. On the east end of the bay you'll find a wonderful marina with a long pier where you can go for a stroll at sunrise...or sit and watch the stars at night. The marina is also the departure point for whale watching cruises and the ferry to Fraser Island. If you're around on the second, fourth or fifth Sunday of the month then you'll be able to take in the sights and sounds of the vibrant Urangan Markets.
