From the 6th - 8th of January 2017 the vibrant country town of Cygnet will again play host to the annual Cygnet Folk Festival - Tasmania's leading celebration of folk and world music, dance, poetry, performance art, food and culture! In its 35th year, this iconic Festival is very highly regarded by musicians and festivalgoers from all over Australia and overseas, and competition to come to Cygnet is at an all time high among performers.
The incredible talent of local, interstate and international artists is celebrated over the January weekend and we are proud that so many amazing performers and festivalgoers take part in what the Festival has to offer each year.
Set in the picturesque Huon Valley countryside, the Festival has the advantage of being only an hour's drive away from cosmopolitan state capital Hobart and attracts thousands of visitors every year.
