Stan Siejka Launceston Cycling Classic

The Stan Siejka cycling classic bike race is Tasmania's best showcase cycling event and one of the best street criterium races in Australia. Having thousands of spectators and being run for over seven years by a local committee of dedicated enthusiasts, makes this a locally supported and developed event not to miss. The city streets are closed so spectators can view these events from behind the barriers and along the streets of Launceston. The course circumnavigates City Park. Turn up and watch some of Australia's best cyclists in action chasing the big prize. Most hotels and restaurants on the circuit are open, so you can sit back and enjoy a drink or a meal.
