Sydney International Women's Jazz Festival 2016

This year’s festival presents a diverse roster of established stars on the international jazz scene alongside a lineup of exceptionally talented local artists in a dynamic program of ticketed and free events Buy Tickets: www.sima.org.au. International artists Melissa Aldana (Chile/US), Ingrid and Christine Jensen (Canada/US), Tara Tiba (Iran/Australia), Tricia Evy (France), Shannon Barnett (Germany/Australia) and Australian artists Mike Nock, Microfiche, That Red Head, Gian Slater are also featured. A festival highlight is the 10-piece powerhouse - the Sydney Women's Jazz Collective who will perform music especially written for the festival by Andrea Keller (Vic) and local composers Jenna Cave, Ellen Kirkwood and Glen Doig.
