Stand Up Paddleboarding Byron Bay

Find out why Stand Up Paddle boarding (SUP) is one of the fastest growing water sports in this 2.5hr SUP experience. We will pick you up from central Byron Bay and transfer you to our fabulous SUP location, Brunswick River. The lesson will include all equipment, expert instruction and transfers. Experience the thrill of walking on water while being surrounded by nature, you will even have the chance to spot incredible marine life such as turtles and dolphins.

Get paddling and explore the stunning Brunswick River on this SUP tour! You'll discover why SUP is one of the fastest growing watersports and fall in love with Byron Bay's natural surrounds on this incredible trip. 

Start your day at the Let's Go Surfing Shop in central Byron Bay, and from there enjoy a free transfer out to your paddling location for the day, Brunswick River. With pristine water surrounded by wild landscapes and towering  trees, this is the perfect place to spend a few hours on the water.

A safety briefing will teach you the basics, from warming up to stroke techniques and you'll learn how to stand and control the board properly. Your instructor will also talk you through correct posture, positioning and safe entry and exit from the water. Even if you've never paddled before you'll still be able to master this! All levels, from beginners to those more experienced can enjoy this tour.

Once you've got the basics, head out onto the water to start your SUP adventure. Your route will take you past beautiful NSW landscapes and nature and there'll also be the chance to spot some marine life! Watch out for dolphins, fish, seabirds and sea turtles. 

Please allow 2.5 hours for this tour. Free transport to and from Surf Shop is included in the price. All equipment (wetsuit, board, rash vest and sunscreen) is also included.
