Ben Roberts Cafe and Gallery is a delightful venue in Lawson.
The original cottage was built by Ben Roberts in 1893 and was occupied by tradesmen such as the local boot-maker and coal merchant. It is now fully renovated with a modern cafe decorated with original artworks by well known Blue Mountains artists and seating for 50 inside and out.
The attached gallery exhibitions change regularly with various featured artists. A lively new program is planned for 2015.
The cafe and gallery are currently closed for a Summer break and for some refurbishment. Look out for some exciting innovations, including evening opening, from the beginning of February.
