Denmark River

Pack a picnic and spend an afternoon relaxing by the tranquil Denmark River near the town of Denmark. Grassy lawn and shady trees make this a charming area for picnicking and for children to play. Take a walk along the Mokare Heritage Trail which is an easy three kilometre circuit around the bridges and along the banks of the Denmark River. Stands of karri and peppermint trees make the trail particularly scenic.
